300 micron, 0.020", 50 grit, 2.0-3.0 mohs; bicarbonate soda abrasive is a special crystalized version of baking soda specifically manufactured for soda blasting; typically used in a pressure blaster and cannot be recycled, as it breaks down on impact; used to strip paint or light oxidation without etching or warping the surface; generates very little to no heat and will not warp the surface; safe on glass, chrome and rubber which makes soda a great choice for vehicle paint stripping and restoration projects; environmentally friendly and can be used for many cleaning applications on delicate surfaces.
