For assured handling they have an anti-slip design and is shock resistant withstanding up to a 2-meter drop. These radios do not require a license or service fees due to high quality band frequencies. A unique circuit extends the life of the batteries, as if there are no transmissions within 10 seconds, the radio will automatically switch to battery save mode. 121 privacy codes are included.
