The work surface of this workbench gains added strength from the substantial wooden core enclosed in welded stainless steel. the particle board core is 1-1/2" thick with a phenolic backer for use in cleanrooms and food service applications. type 304 brushed stainless steel is highly corrosion-resistant and has polished smooth safety edges and corners. the flared fixed-height legs are made of all-welded steel channel construction, undercoated to resist rust with a gray powder coat finish. the bench stringer comes with mounting hardware to assemble legs to the benchtop.
