It is non-separating and provides a tight, positive, leak-free seal. PRO DOPE prevents rust and inhibits corrosion by forming a protective coating on threads. It is non-hardening and joints can be disassembled without damage to pipe fittings or threads. PRO DOPE is easily applied with a natural bristle brush in temperatures as low as -15 deg F and performs over a temperature range of 0 to 350 deg F. PRO DOPE is a gray colored thread sealant which contains no lead.
