"Designed for sloped ceiling installations for ceilings from 2/12 to 12/12 pitch. The socket mechanism allows the lamp to be aimed straight down regardless of ceiling pitch. Lamp socket and trim can be adjusted 20 degrees laterally for compound slope ceilings or to compensate for off axis aiming. Air-tite fixture sealed and gasketed to prevent airflow between attic and living areas. For installations where housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. Integral thermal protector guards against misuse of insulation materials and improper lamping. Junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has seven 1/2"" knockouts and four Romex knockouts with integral strain relief. Plaster frame includes locking screw for hanger bars and cut outs for crimping hanger bars into position. Pre-installed captive bar hangers allow housing to be positioned at any point within a 24"" joist span. Can be field shortened for 12"" joist.
