IPEX 017014 Backwater Valve with Sleeve, 3 in, Hub x Hub x FPT, ABS Body

A backwater valve is a device that prevents sewage in an overloaded main sewer line from backing up into a building basement. The valve will automatically close if sewage backs up from the main sewer and will remain closed until the line is clear. The included sleeve allows for burial of the valve.
