These booms can be linked together by built-in connectors to overlap and contain large areas. Designed for long-term deployment, they are recommended for containing and absorbing spills and effluent discharges in ditches, streams, rivers, lakes, and terminal docks and piers. UV resistant, they will not deteriorate, disintegrate or sink, and, have an inner scrim to eliminate linting. Unlike non-sorbent containment booms, these booms absorb the oil as they contain it.
