Plus, the charging station includes an internal fan which controls the temperature of the device in order to prevent overheating. The fan is automatically controlled to reduce noise levels. The charger also includes an LED indicator beside each port to notify you of a short circuit, while the affected port will shut down until you power-cycle the charger.
