The HDMI and DisplayPort (DP) outputs support true 4K resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor. When both DP outputs are connected to one DP monitor, that monitor will support 5K video up to 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz. DisplayLink Technology Allows Connection of Multiple Displays. By downloading and installing the proper DisplayLink drivers to your host device, you may connect two external displays simultaneously. This allows you to display the image from the host computer on both monitors, extend your host desktop across both with different windows open on each, or combine all into one large display as a video wall. Connect multiple monitors (dual 4K @ 60 Hz DP; dual 4K @ 60 Hz HDMI; or 4K @ 60 Hz DP and 4K @ 60 Hz HDMI) in Extended and Mirror modes. Anti-Theft Lock Protects the Docking Station When You Aren't Around. Connect a user-supplied computer/laptop security cable lock (not included) to this K-lock port to protect your source device against theft. Detachable USB-C Cable Connects in Either Direction. Unlike traditional USB cables that connect in only one direction, the reversible USB-C male connector plugs into a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port in either direction for an instant connection every time. A USB-C to USB-A adapter is included for connecting the docking station to your host device's USB-A port.
